dc.description.abstractAbsolute measurements of the differential cross section for elastic electron scattering from benzene (C6H6) are reported, for the first time, for incident electron energies of 8.5 and 20 eV. The angular distributions are discussed in terms of known negative ion resonance features and a favourable comparison is made with a recent model potential calculation.
