D-19 has halted the world with significant impacts on human lives and economies. Humanity is facing the biggest challenge since the Second World War. As the world grapples with this pandemic, questions are also being raised about China's role in the COVID-19 outbreak. The issues that are being debated include the current model of the supply chain and the need to diversify from China, global governance, and crisis management in the Post-COVID-19 world. In this context, this paper examines the significant role that India's pharmaceutical industry can play to establish India's rightful place among nations providing global leadership in the Post-COVID-19 world.
