Topics in this survey include: respondents reading on 1983 nuclear arms control negotiation in Geneva; willingness of US and USSR to reach agreement on nuclear weapons reduction; amount of attention respondent pays to defence and security issues; heard of ANZUS; support for ANZUS; support for variety of forms of defence co-operation; US or New Zealand benefits more from ANZUS; ANZUS and risk of attack of New Zealand; trust in US to come to New Zealand's defence; visits by US nuclear powered war ships; reasons for support/oppose visits by US warships; South Pacific Nuclear Free Zone; support for South Pacific Nuclear Fee Zone; activities that could by prohibited in South Pacific Nuclear Fee Zone; possibility of enforcing South Pacific Nuclear Fee Zone; self-placement on left-right spectrum.
