Captions on the rear of the photographs are displayed as the title. Stinear occasionally notes weather conditions and brightness when taking photographs. These photographs were taken during Stinear's time in Papua New Guinea from 1936-1937, in the Sepik, Ramu, and Gulf regions. The same stone object is shown in Kasprusch 1941.
