Part one: Island of Chains, deals with controversies surrounding Aboriginal burial sites on Rottnest Island and their significance to today's Aboriginal people. Until the early 1900's, Rottnest was used as a prison, and of the 3,000 Aboriginal prisoners sent there, 500 died. Their remains lie in unmarked graves beneath the holiday settlement but are now being recovered.
