Introduction: …I would like to limit myself to speaking about our bilateral relationship and how the UK and Australia are responding to the global and regional challenges we face. While relations between the UK and Australia have undoubtedly changed and evolved over time, I am confident that the traditional links that exist between our two countries and peoples can only make us stronger in meeting the manifold challenges we face in the 21st century.
