Description
In this article we explore some implications of the 'university-research-is-theatre' metaphor, emphasising the more egregious entailments in order to stimulate a conversation. We seek to stimulate reflection on the nature of university research and whether the DEYTA (1999) Green Paper will effect fundamental change in an enduring characteristic of research-related activity - its theatricality.
